LAHORE: Punjab National Interfaith Peace Committee Vice-President Shahzad Gul on Monday expressed deep sorrow and anger over the martyrdom of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
He condemned the silence of the Muslim world and the oppressors of Palestine, calling this day one of immense grief.
Gul stated, “Today is a day of great sorrow, as the voice of the Muslim world and the oppressed Palestinians has been silenced. However, the awareness and insight given by Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to the public cannot be extinguished by forces like the United States and Israel. Insha’Allah, the day is not far when the entire world will witness the destruction of America and Israel.”
He continued, “We express our condolences for the loss suffered by the Muslim Ummah and stand in solidarity with the people of Iran in this time of grief. Unfortunately, Muslim nations today have played a shameful role by providing bases to America and Israel for attacking Iran. How will these nations face God in the hereafter? They are the killers of the Palestinian people, and God’s wrath is silent, but when it strikes, their place will be Hell.”
Gul emphasized that the Muslim world must stand united against the oppression of Palestine and the growing anti-Islamic forces in the region. He concluded by expressing that despite the painful loss, the spirit of resistance and unity will remain unbroken.
