ISLAMABAD: The chief of Tehreek-e-Nifaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafaria, Agha Syed Hussain Muqaddasi, led a high-level delegation to pay a special visit to the Iranian Embassy in Islamabad to express condolences over the tragic martyrdom of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei, and others.
The delegation included Secretary General Allama Raja Basharat Hussain Imami, Additional Secretary General and Central Secretary Information Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Secretary Coordination Syed Hassan Kazmi, President Federal Capital Allama Riffat Hussain Naqvi, and Senior Member of the Supreme Council and Regional President Rawalpindi Shaukat Abbas Jafri.
During the meeting with the Iranian Ambassador, Reza Amiri Moghadam, Agha Syed Hussain Muqaddasi conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Jafaria community of Pakistan. He informed the Ambassador that the courageous Shia followers of Haider-e-Karrar in Pakistan, along with all patriotic citizens, stand equally with the Iranian nation in their grief.
Syed Hussain Muqaddasi expressed that Ayatollah Khamenei preferred an honorable death over a life of humiliation, and that his unjustly shed blood would become a source of dignity and awakening for the Muslim Ummah.
He further recalled that when Ayatollah Khamenei had visited Pakistan in the capacity of President of Iran, he had conveyed to Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafaria Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi the message of Ayatollah Khomeini at the time of reception: “Agha Hamid Mousavi, you are the honor of the nation.”
The chief of TNFJ reiterated Agha Mousavi’s resolve that their pure and practical struggle would continue, in accordance with the wasiyyat (will) of Ameer-ul-Momineen Hazrat Ali al-Murtaza, to dissociate from oppressors and to support the oppressed people around the world, and that no sacrifice would be spared for this cause.
He offered prayers and recited Fateha for the elevation of the ranks of the martyred Agha Khamenei.
The Iranian Ambassador expressed heartfelt gratitude to Agha Syed Hussain Muqaddasi and the central delegation of TNFJ for their visit and condolences.
