ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Syed Shibli Faraz has emphasised on cooperation between Pakistan and Cuba in the field of culture.
The information minister was talking to Cuban Ambassador Gabriel Tiel Capote, who paid a farewell call on him on Wednesday.
Syed Shibli Faraz said that Pakistan has a rich and diverse cultural heritage that needs to be shared with the Cuban people. He said that collaboration in the areas of culture and media would help promote bilateral relations. He thanked Cuba for the scholarships offered in the medical field to Pakistani students.
The ambassador emphasised the need for implementation of various memoranda of understanding signed between Cuba and Pakistan in different fields for the mutual benefit of the people of both countries. – TLTP
