DUBAI (UAE): Naveed Ahmed, Group Chairman Super Fix Tape Ball Tournament, has announced that all matches of Super Fix Season 3 will be held at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Preparations for the world tournament, scheduled for December 24, are in full swing, with Arshad Anjum appointed as the professional media director.

The announcement came during a dinner ceremony honoring international sports journalist Abdul Majid Bhatti at a local Dubai restaurant. Naveed Ahmed praised Bhatti’s commitment to journalistic integrity and highlighted the importance of tape ball cricket in nurturing talent, citing examples like Shahid Afridi and Haris Rauf who began their careers with tape ball.

Bhatti, in turn, commended the tournament’s role in promoting cricket at the grassroots level.
Naveed Ahmed emphasized his personal investment in the tournament, expressing his desire to see tape ball cricket gain global recognition and provide opportunities for players. He revealed that following Chris Gayle and Shahid Afridi as brand ambassadors in previous seasons, a new ambassador for Season 3 would be announced soon.

The upcoming tournament is set to feature ten teams from countries including Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates, pending approval from the Emirates Cricket Board.

Naveed Ahmed also acknowledged Arshad Anjum’s contributions to cricket promotion through his journalistic network.

The event was attended by Khan Zaman, Chairman of Al Ibrahimi Group, and concluded with Anjum expressing gratitude to the participants and pledging his support to Ahmed’s vision for cricket promotion.
