Suzuki Pakistan Unveils All-New Fronx XUV at PAPS 2025

KARACHI: Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited (PSMCL) unveiled its much-awaited crossover utility vehicle, the Suzuki Fronx, at the Pakistan Auto Parts Show (PAPS) 2025 at the Expo Center Karachi on Friday, marking a major milestone in the company’s strategic expansion in Pakistan’s automotive market. Scheduled for an official launch in May 2026, the Fronx will introduce a completely new XUV category, becoming the first locally assembled vehicle in this segment.
The unveiling ceremony drew significant attention from industry leaders, auto enthusiasts, vendors, and government officials, signalling Suzuki’s renewed commitment to innovation, localization, and diversification in Pakistan’s auto industry.
Speaking at the event, Masafumi Harano, Managing Officer & Executive General Manager, Automobile Marketing – Asia, Latin America and Oceania, highlighted Suzuki’s global direction of “creating value for society through mobility.” He said Suzuki is adapting rapidly to the global shift toward cleaner, connected, and more efficient transportation, adding that the company is actively exploring future-oriented initiatives, including renewable and biogas technologies.
Hiroshi Kawamura, Managing Director PSMCL, reaffirmed Pak Suzuki’s longstanding relationship with Pakistan, built over five decades of trust and partnership. He reiterated Suzuki’s “Made in Pakistan” philosophy, emphasizing that the company’s expanding product lineup reflects its commitment to localization, sustainability, and serving the evolving needs of Pakistani customers.
Aamir Shaffi, Executive Officer Marketing & Sales, described the Suzuki Fronx as a breakthrough model strategically positioned between hatchbacks, sedans, and SUVs. He said the Fronx creates a new market space for customers looking to upgrade from conventional hatchbacks and sedans without shifting to full-sized SUVs. This new XUV segment, he added, represents Suzuki’s vision for Pakistan’s next stage of automotive evolution.
Designed to cater to over 50 percent of Pakistan’s market, primarily dominated by hatchback and sedan users, the Suzuki Fronx blends practicality with modern styling, offering enhanced comfort, dynamic performance, and advanced safety features. The model promises to deliver lifestyle-oriented mobility while maintaining efficiency and affordability – traits that have long defined Suzuki’s presence in Pakistan.
The newly introduced Fronx showcases a bold exterior design, premium interior aesthetics, and advanced technology features. Suzuki emphasized that the official launch will include a detailed features and specifications list, but initial highlights shared at PAPS 2025 include:

Suzuki officials noted that this new model embodies the company’s aim to provide accessible and sustainable mobility solutions while further strengthening Pakistan’s automotive ecosystem through local manufacturing and innovation.
With the introduction of the Fronx XUV and a clear roadmap toward future-focused mobility solutions, Suzuki Pakistan has signaled a strong step forward in shaping the country’s automotive landscape for the coming decade.
