Talk about China Part – 12

Evenings in Shanghai are also fascinating, our guide took us to a wonderful shopping mall where products from China’s finest and most expensive brands were on display. During this visit, it was realized that the businessmen of Pakistan by importing cheap goods from China did not even imagine the high quality products of China in Pakistan. Most Pakistanis think that China’s goods are not standard in terms of quality. Industry in China does not produce high standard equipment. You guessed it, Apple’s iPhone, which people think is an American product, is actually manufactured in China, but the American company demands it according to its own standards. Pakistani businessmen should also introduce high quality Chinese products in Pakistan.

A good mobile phone was available in a shopping mall for around five yuan but after the debasement of Pakistani currency, it was costing around two and a half lakhs in Pakistani rupees. Shabbar Naqvi was more interested in Chinese luxury cars. The features of these vehicles were really amazing. After a sumptuous Chinese dinner, everyone was busy wandering around, but in the meantime, our “Buddha” got lost somewhere, this was probably the 3rd or 4th incident of a missing Buddha.

You may recall that Mr. Stone used to call Noman Nizami the photographer “Buddha of Love”. It was Stone who shouted that the “Buddha” was missing. We also started searching, it seemed that our little one was lost in the crowd. When I went to one side of the shopping mall in search of Buddha, I saw that white mice and rabbits were being sold. The search for the Buddha was delayed for some time and interest in animals increased because these animals were so small in size that it appeared that bonsai plants, like trees, produced a special breed of dwarf-sized animals. However, after a while, the Buddha became available. As before, everyone expressed a bit of anger, but I guessed that the “Nizami” was lost in his passion for photography for the sake of a particular image.

After returning to the hotel, everyone was busy phoning their families in Pakistan, along with the well-being of their families, news from all over Pakistan was of interest to everyone. Mr. Stone gave the program for the morning and was satisfied that everyone would reach breakfast in time, so it happened, after a good night’s sleep after exhaustion, gradually all the companions were at breakfast early in the morning, and Javed Malik as per on telephone. But he was also informing Begum (Wife) about the breakfast details.

It was a fine morning on July 1 when we were to visit the headquarters of the Communist Party of China. The Communist Party of China (CPC) is the largest party in the People’s Republic of China, with a membership of around one hundred million, and a long list of achievements as the ruling party of China. The People’s Republic of China is a major power in the world that is advancing in all fields.

We had reached the office of the Communist Party of China. July 1 was the foundation day of the party. So there were red flags everywhere, because the party was able to establish a government after a revolution, so the color of the flag is also red and the national flag of China is also red. People from various institutes and educational institutions were coming to the head office to make the day memorable. The CPC was founded on July 1, 1921 when Shanghai was under French influence. Shanghai was under French influence from 1849 to 1943, and was then under Japanese influence during World War II, and finally the 1949 revolution transformed China into the People’s Republic of China.

On July 1, 1921, 13 people participated in the first regular meeting of the CPC, which started the struggle for a system of communism in China in the light of Marxist ideas after the Russian Revolution, at that time due to the subjugation of France. It was difficult for the CPC to hold meetings. The history of the CPC bears witness to the fact that its members used to hire a boat and hold meetings at sea, so one can imagine the difficulties that this struggle faced.

Among the members of the first meeting was Mao Zedong, who later became Chairman Mao Zedong, the country’s president, upon the success of the revolution. Another of his comrades, Dong Biwu, was also alive at the time of the revolution. Out of the 13 people who started the struggle, only two people could see this success. But they struggled considering the betterment of their future generations.

The party flag is hoisted in the CPC office premises, with a beautiful lake behind it, reflecting a beautiful scene amidst high-rise buildings. Next to the CPC office there is also a wonderful museum which presents the history of the Great Struggle of the Chinese People in the form of photographs and films.

People were also coming to the party office in droves and a crowd of people was also seen in the museum. We were seeing and discussing among ourselves that the CPC’s role is key in how organized the people of China are. The party is not only governing but also providing the best leadership to its people who is tirelessly taking the country to the heights of development, but also making every effort to keep the people together.

As if the CPC system were a code of life, China’s leaders often claim that they have embraced communism with Chinese characteristics. This is the reason why the nations around the world who are trying to compete with China, they kept dreaming of defeating them, because the Chinese nation is moving one step further every day, so they made the country invincible.

During the tour of the museum in Shanghai, the headquarters of the Communist Party of China, many historical photos and films were on display. Our guide Mr. Stone had a lot of information about it, I was looking at the pictures of the Opium War I and II when Mr. Stone joined me he also told me some interesting facts about the British East India Company from 1839 to 1843 and then From 1856 to 1860, they fought wars with China respectively, which are known in history as the Opium War.

The East India Company, which at that time occupied several areas of the Indian subcontinent, and was plotting to tunnel Punjab and Delhi, Raja Ranjit Singh’s reign in Punjab had ended after forty years and Bahadur Shah Zafar, The rule of the last Mughal Tajdar was gradually limited to Delhi, the king was in debt to the British and the stipend was depleted. At that time, the East India Company had started the business of illegally selling opium to China. When the Chinese government wanted to impose restrictions on it, the company started a war. Mr. Stone said that the supporters of the East India Company were not from China even then they attacked with five thousand soldiers and five thousand Indian soldiers, while two thousand soldiers were also recruited from Ceylon (present day Sri Lanka).
The East India Company had the support of the British government and had modern weapons and warships, so they were able to defeat the large Chinese army and the agreement that was reached gave them five ports (harbors) in the East, including Shanghai. India was taken over by the company, while Hong Kong was also leased under a 150-year contract that ended in 1992. As a result of the Second Opium War, the ports of five more cities also came under the control of the East India Company, in which the United States and France participated along with Great Britain.
In the 20th century AD, after World War- I and World War-II, Japan’s influence ended and eventually China became the “People’s Republic of China” as a result of the Chinese Revolution.
Shanghai is the city from where the journey of revolution started and eventually China became a great country. The East India Company which was established in London in 1600 under joint stock came to India for trade and also built its own army. War in Asia and China with the backing of the British Empire, created a neo-colonial system. Other similar European nations also formed East India Companies, but they failed to conquer India. The people of India were used extensively by the East India Company for their purposes. Although the company was liquidated in 1874, its concept of colonialism did not end. The company also traded slaves on the lines of the Royal African Company. Humans were enslaved, in America, slaves were taken for work. That thinking of the East India Company is still driven to make nations economic slaves. Even today, the world’s biggest corporations are able to make countries agree to their terms in a new way. As in the past, they bring their supporters to power and then make the agreements they want, as if the East India Company has gone, a new form of colonialism is in place and the people are economically hostage. It seems that the real freedom of the developing countries is still far away. China got rid of them by launching a revolution and after that the Iranian revolution in our region saved its people from colonialism, but these two countries are still fighting against capitalist thinking.
If you look at the museum of the headquarters of the Communist Party of China from a study point of view, it can be estimated that nurturing the revolution is not easy. Time really builds years and then something big happens. Although India’s independence in 1947 resulted in the creation of two countries, the current regime in Pakistan in particular appears to be an incomplete independence.
Pakistan was put in trouble by creating the problems of the states of Kashmir, Hyderabad, Deccan and Junagadh, and the noble families of the British were imposed. Till date, according to the need of the time, no legalization has been done in Pakistan, but the theory of necessity has been used for the rulers and not for the people. Working with the rules of the colonial era, a lot needs to be done in a unique way to develop the idea of an independent nation.
Discussing similar ideas, we all headed towards the “Bund”, the river that divides the city of Shanghai into two parts, the new and modern city is the area of the Bund, but Mr. Stone said that first we will experience the Meglev train. It seems that another high-speed train has experienced a short journey in China. A high-speed train has been launched from Shanghai city to the airport which covers a distance of 80 km in just eight minutes. Mr. Stone bought the tickets and left us at the station and drove himself to the airport. Of course, he needed at least an hour to travel 80 km. Because he had to take us from there to the “Bund” and then to the TV tower
In no time, the train reached the station, which makes several rounds between the city and the airport. Everyone boarded quickly, of course I had to be the last to board and there was a danger of the train leaving in moments. When i went to my seat, i saw that a beautiful woman was also sitting on the seat next to me. I hadn’t even sat down yet when the train started, and at the same time i spoke to the woman, where she had come from? She told, St. Petersburg and now going to the Indonesian island of Bali. Russian beauty name was Katrina, who looked more beautiful than the Indian actress.
