Tessori visits Kharadar General Hospital and opens the floor

KARACHI: The education and health sector is of fundamental importance for the life of nations. Without development in the education and health sector, we cannot find our place in the world. Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori expressed these views while visiting Kharadar General Hospital and School of Nursing, says a Press release.
While inaugurating the Obs/Gynae wing on this occasion, he said that Kharadar General Hospital has played a very important role in saving the lives of mothers and new-born babies. It is a historic achievement to serve continuously for 100 years in any country. Kharadar General Hospital has been providing high quality medical services at extremely subsidized rates to the residents of the old and underprivileged areas of Karachi for the past hundred years.
He appreciated the high educational performance of the School of Nursing of Kharadar General Hospital and congratulated the President of the hospital Muhammad Bashir Janmuhammad and the Chairman Professor Abdul Ghaffar Billoo for their high human services.
President of the hospital and well-known industrialist Muhammad Basheer Jan Muhammad said that sincerity, good intentions and constant tireless work are required to build institutions and run them continuously successfully. The doctors, nurses, management and staff of Kharadar General Hospital are performing the duty of humanitarian services in accordance with the professional principles. He further said that every class has to play its role to solve the long-standing problems of Pakistan. Business philanthropists associated with Karachi have contributed to social services. But it needs to be increased further.
On this occasion, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the hospital, Dr. Khalid Iqbal, said that to ensure the achievement of medical challenges and national goals, we must be focus and effective. To control obesity, dengue, malaria, Chikungunya, typhoid, blood pressure, diabetes and other diseases, education, training and research trends will have to be developed. Medical problems can be controlled only by aligning the manpower and talent with contemporary requirements.
Director of School of Nursing, Talat Parveen Shah said on this occasion that the nursing department is central in the medical system. Kharadar General School of Nursing is not only providing manpower according to the needs of the country by providing high professional education and training. Rather, it is playing an important role in improving the precious human lives with high professional services.
Meanwhile, Hospital President Muhammad Bashir Jan Muhammad presented a special shield to the chief guest, Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Tessori. Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori distributed laptops among the position holders of the School of Nursing and congratulated the staff of Kharadar General Hospital for their excellent medical services.
