KARACHI: Three days International conference ‘Traumatology’ was held in the local hotel of Karachi addressed management of complex trauma surgeries attended by more than one thousand health care professionals.
Dr Muhammad Sohail Rajput, Chief Secretary Sindh was attended the last day of the Conference as the chief guest of the concluding session.
Addressing from the participants Dr Sohail Rajput said that I’m delighted to know that “Traumacon 2023” is organized by Pakistan Trauma society first time here at Karachi to cope with future trauma surgeries challenges and I’m grateful to Dr. Sabir Memon, Executive Director Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Institute of Trauma for inviting me as the chief guest.
It’s the great effort to hold the conference on Trauma Management, opportunity provided for cross learning added to great value.
Sindh government is the only one who conceived the idea to establish a state of art surgical facility.
Dr Muhammad Sabir Memon, Organizing Secretary Traumacon 2023 said that it’s the great experience by organizing this conference and I’m very much proud today for expanding SSMBIT services. We successfully formed Trauma Registry strategies for Trauma and cope for the Trauma collective platform for Trauma Faculty.
At the end of the Conference, mementoes were distributed among the participants including Professor Anees ud Din Bhatti, former Director Jinnah Hospital, Professor Jhonanthon from Australia, Professor S. Shahid Noor. Dr Saeed Akbar, Dr Uroosa Asim, Professor Sadqa Aftab, Dr Shahjahan Katpar, Professor Zubair, Dr Sadia Amir, Dr Hassan Kashif, Dr Beenish Hameed, Dr Sheharyar Ghazanfar, Anum Wahab and Zehra Naqvi.
