Water Board admin makes foolproof arrangement of water on Hazrat Ali Day

KARACHI: On the special instructions of CEO KW&SB Engineer Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed, the water board administration has completed all arrangements for water supply and drainage on the occasion of Hazrat Ali Day, says a Press release.
According to the spokesperson of the KW&SB on the occasion of Hazrat Ali Day, the water board officials have completely eliminated all the complaints of water supply and drainage in all Mosques, Imambargahs, congregations, sabils and procession routes, and all manholes have been properly and safely covered so that the mourners and worshipers do not face any problems.
On the instructions of the CEO KW&SB, all operational and field staff of the Water Board will remain on high alert to deal with any water and sewerage emergency on the occasion of Hazrat Ali Day. In addition, all arrangements have been made to provide water tankers free of cost to ensure availability of water to all Mosques, Imambargahs, congregations, sabils and procession routes.
In this regard, water tankers have been delivered to Nishtar Park, Imambargah Hussainia Iraniaan, MA Jinnah Road, KMC Building, NJV School and Mazar-e-Quaid, While water tankers have been put on standby at the civic center head office to deal with any emergency situation, Focal Person Hydrants Cell under the direction of Incharge Hydrants Cell are personally supervising all the arrangements for Hazrat Ali Day.
CEO KW&SB instructed the officers that on the occasion of Hazrat Ali Day, they should be in full cooperation with the law enforcement agencies and the district administration and Jafaria Alliance Pakistan.
