KARACHI: CEO Water Corporation Engineer Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed and COO Water Corporation Engineer Asadullah Khan made a detailed visit to the main procession routes of 12 Rabi-ul-Awal celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi and reviewed the water supply and drainage arrangements. On this occasion, Chief Engineer Sewerage Aftab Alam Chandio and other senior officials accompanied him.
According to the spokesman of the Water Corporation, the Water Corporation officials have been giving instructions to the relevant authorities while monitoring the water supply and drainage works on the routes and of the main processions of Eid Milad-un-Nabi.
On this occasion, the Water Corporation officials said that the despite public holidays in the entire country, the officers and employees of the Water Corporation are busy performing their duties, while officers and employees of Water Corporation are on high alert along the main procession routes with jetting and suction machines to deal with any emergency situation.
They said that the on the main procession routes of Eid Milad-un-Nabi cleaning of sewage overflow has been ensured by keeping ring slabs and covers on all open manholes and full cooperation was also done with the religious parties including the district administration, they said that the routes of the processions of Eid Milad-un-Nabi were kept completely clean by water leakage, So that citizens and worshipers do not face any kind of problem and on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the has provided water tankers to the district administration, law enforcement agencies and the procession routes.
On the other hand, the leaders of the religious parties expressed their gratitude to the Water Corporation administration for making the best arrangements and paid tribute to them.
