A woman in Gujranwala set her ex-husband’s house on fire after he remarried, three years after their divorce, according to a report by Geo News. The incident occurred on Sunday night when Adnan, the ex-husband, was attending his valima ceremony. Police stated that the fire, set by his former wife Saleha with the help of her sister and brother-in-law, injured Adnan’s brother and damaged belongings in the house, including the newly-wed couple’s room.
Adnan and Saleha were married for ten years but divorced due to ongoing quarrels. After the divorce, Adnan moved back to his parents’ house in the Model Town area of Gujranwala. Police said the suspects entered the house through the roof and started the fire. The investigation is currently ongoing.
