KARACHI: The Caretaker of the Qadamgah Maula Ali (A.S.) and Media Coordinator of Muntazim Anjuman Imamia Sindh Zawar Abdul Sattar Dars has demanded from the Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and the Inspector General of Police Sindh to increase the security arrangements at the Qadamgah Maula Ali (A.S.) as there are a lot of reservations in this connection. In the backdrop of the current situation, the existing security arrangements are not enough, he added.
In a statement, issued here Wednesday, Zawar Abdul Sattar said that all those Zaireen who set out for Sehwan Sharif for Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’s Urs, visit the Qadamgah Maula Ali (A.S.) before going to Sehwan Sharif. As they come here in a huge number, therefore, there is a need to make strict security measures so that they do not face any difficulty.
Zawar Abdul Sattar said that he has also talked to DIG In-Charge Hyderabad and told him that the number of Zaireen increases manifold after 15 Shaaban on which he had assured of foolproof security at the Qadamgah Maula Ali (A.S.). However, he lamented that a police post exists at the Mazar but the number of police personnel posted there is not enough as only two policemen perform the security duties.
He also demanded that special arrangements are also required for women Zaireen for which the ladies police should be activated. The special security arrangements at the Qadamgah Maula Ali (A.S.) should be made with immediate effect, he added.
