On the auspicious occasion of the 77th Founding Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China, I extend my heartfelt felicitations to the leadership and the brotherly people of China.
The year 2026 carries special significance as Pakistan and China celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations-a remarkable journey founded on mutual trust, respect and an enduring commitment to stand together through changing times.
China’s extraordinary transformation into a global economic and technological power is a testament to visionary leadership, hard work, discipline and sustained investment in infrastructure and human development. Its experience offers valuable lessons for Pakistan as we pursue our own aspirations for economic progress and prosperity.
The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has given new strength to our economic partnership by improving connectivity and opening avenues for investment, infrastructure development, industry and trade. The private sectors of both countries must now play an even greater role in transforming these opportunities into sustainable businesses, employment and shared prosperity.
As Chairman of HMR Group, I firmly believe that deeper cooperation professionals and social organisations can add an important human dimension to this time-tested friendship and ensure that its benefits reach future generations.
