ABBOTTABAD: District Health Officer (DHO) Abbottabad Wednesday confirmed 29 years old Jawad Alam Karam resident of Sawat as COVID-19 PCR positive.
The COVID-19 victim Jawad Alam Karam came from USA via Dubai on 20th March to Manyar Sawat through Islamabad airport and spent five days at home. During his stay he remained in self-quarantine with N-95 mask and gloves, isolation.
Through his stay at home in Swat he met with his father Fazal Kareem age 70 years, mother Irshad Begum age 60 years, brother Fazal Wahab and his family, another brother Dr. Murad, sister Kalsoom age 37 years along with her three kids Hamza age 16, Tabasum 18 and Nafeesa 4 yearrs of age.
The other family members who met the victim were 40 years old sister Asia with her daughter Hiba age 4 years, sister Rehana 32 years of age.
The patient Jawad Alam is now living in self-quarantine at Jinnah Abad, street 5, house No: 307 Abbottabad with a brother and friend.
Although the patient didn’t visit any social or religious gatherings and remained self-quarantined medical team is in the area along with police and have lock down Street No. 5.
