KARACHI: The launching ceremony of Pakistan Tape ball Premier League was held in Karachi. League President Khurram Majeed addressing a press conference said that his effort is to bring the best tape ball players from the streets to the stadium.
Khurram Majeed said that the winning team will be given five million rupees whereas the runner-up team will be entitled to two million rupees. The semi-finalist team of the event will also receive five lakh rupees. Twelve teams from across the country will participate in the six-day competition under the lights of at the Moin Khan Stadium.
The chief guest, MQM Pakistan leader Dr. Mohammad Farooq Sattar said that in Pakistan, sports have been included in politics and sports in politics. Dr. Farooq Sattar said that it is a good thing that there is no domicile in sports, here only the best player wins.
Farooq Sattar assured the organizers of his all-possible support and expressed his best wishes for the success of the league. On this occasion, President of Defense Clifton Real Asset Agent Association Johar Iqbal said that Pakistan Tape Ball Premier League will be a memorable tournament in which players from all over the country will be seen in action.
Chairman Sindh Realtor Noor Abrejo said that PTPL is a manifestation of Khurram Majeed’s efforts. He hopes that the players participating in the event will take full advantage of this platform.
