KARACHI: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on Wednesday evening, with the two sides discussing the latest regional developments and ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at addressing the prevailing situation.
During the conversation, Araghchi and Field Marshal Munir reviewed recent developments in the region and exchanged views on various dimensions of the current situation, according to reports.
The discussions focused particularly on diplomatic trends and ongoing efforts to advance political and diplomatic solutions amid heightened regional tensions.
Both sides stressed the importance of continued consultations and exchanged views on ways to further strengthen bilateral coordination and cooperation between Pakistan and Iran.
