Zaireen Khidmat Committee Satisfied with Ongoing Development Work at Roza-e-Masooma-e-Sindh

KARACHI: The Zaireen Khidmat Committee Sindh, at its online meeting held on Thursday, expressed satisfaction over the ongoing construction and development work at Roza-e-Masooma-e-Sindh, Bibi Khadija Maham (SA), daughter of Imam Musa Kazim (AS), at Agham Kot in District Badin.
The Committee appreciated the measures taken by senior officials of the Sindh Auqaf Department to advance the construction work and urged the department to ensure that the entire project is carried out without interruption and completed within the stipulated timeframe, strictly in accordance with the approved design and layout.
The Committee noted that the area under the administration of the Sindh Auqaf Department spreads over approximately 73.5 acres, encompassing the Roza Mubarak of Masooma-e-Sindh Bibi Khadija Maham (SA) as well as the shrine of Makhdoom Ismail Soomro.
Makhdoom Ismail Soomro devoted himself during his lifetime to serving and looking after the sacred grave of Bibi Khadija Maham (SA), who was also locally known as “Madina Wali Bibi.”
The meeting was informed that the Sindh Auqaf Department took over the administration of both shrines and their adjoining area in 2021. Subsequently, construction and development work was initiated at the Roza Mubarak of Bibi Khadija Maham (SA) and its surrounding areas with the objective of providing improved facilities to the large number of Zaireen visiting the sacred site from across the country.
While appreciating the progress made so far, the Zaireen Khidmat Committee called for accelerating the remaining construction and development work to ensure its completion within the stipulated period.
The Committee stressed that there should be no compromise on the approved architectural plan, quality of construction or facilities designated for Zaireen.
It further emphasised that the historical and religious sanctity and significance of the sacred site must remain a foremost consideration at every stage of development and construction. Adequate and quality facilities should also be ensured for Zaireen arriving from different parts of Sindh and across Pakistan.
The online meeting was attended by Committee members Zawwar Niaz Hussain Leghari, Ghulam Haider Leghari, Munawar Hussain Khawaja, Mir Imdad Ali Piral Talpur, Agha Syed Mehr Ali Shah, Yar Muhammad Lanjwani, Brig (R) Karrar Hussain, Ali Zeb, Mubasher Mir, Ghulam Mehdi and Manzar Naqvi.
The meeting also offered special prayers for the speedy and complete recovery of renowned Sindhi scholar Zawwar Abdul Sattar Dars.
Paying tribute to his scholarly and research contributions, the Committee said Zawwar Abdul Sattar Dars, through his research, books, writings and speeches, has played an important role in bringing the Roza of Bibi Khadija Maham (SA), along with its historical and religious significance, to wider public attention.
Zawwar Abdul Sattar Dars is currently hospitalised with a heart ailment and is expected to undergo bypass surgery.
The Committee members prayed to Almighty Allah for the success of his treatment and for his complete and speedy recovery, enabling him to resume his scholarly, research, religious and organisational activities at the earliest.
