KARACHI: Ex-leader of opposition in previous Sindh Assembly Khawaja Izhar Ul Hassan has said that the voters of the MQM are fully aware of difficulties, restrictions and conspiracies, which are for hampering MQM’s candidates’ easy and comfortable movements with regard to General Elections-2018 scheduled on July 25th the coming month.
Talking to media persons, he said that his nomination papers have been dismissed on a minor mistake and that mistake was that he had by mistake submitted his nomination papers from NA-242 instead of his chosen constituency of NA-243.
He said that since he has also submitted his nomination papers from a provincial constituency, PS-124 and the same have been approved. With regard to NA-243, he had all been cleared, he added but on that minor mistake of submitting the nomination papers from NA-242 instead of NA-243, the nomination papers have been rejected on which he would move the elections tribunal, said Hassan.
He said that the electoral constituency of NA-242 has since past three decades been his electoral constituency from where he has always fought for the elections and the sheer rejection of his papers was nothing but a plain injustice.
He said that he would immediately launch his electioneering from NA-242 after he would get remedy from the elections tribunal.
He said that conspiracies are being hatched against the candidates of the MQM but all such conspiracies would die as a result of tough contest and fight back. The rivals of the MQM are happy on our difficulties but they should also bear in mind that the voters of the MQM are fully aware of the problems, restrictions and conspiracies.
While criticising the PPP, Hassan said that he has never received a single drop of water at home from lines supply just because of bad governance of the PPP. The situation is equally same across Sindh province especially in Nawab Shah and Larkana where the people are compelled to drink fully contaminated water. – NNI
