Aaghosh Trust confers Talent Awards to special persons

KARACHI: The Aaghosh Trust held a Talent Award with regard to the day of persons with disabilities. Pertaining to the disability day the Aaghosh Trust held the 4th Aaghosh Special Talent Award 2019 at a local hotel in which Aaghosh Trust conferred awards to the people living their lives to the fullest and with dignity from all over the Pakistan.
The seminar aimed at highlighting the talent especially those whose hopes of defying the odds are stronger than the rocks despite the challenges. The most important aspect of this award function was the gentleman with charismatic personality and unbridled passion namely Muhammad Arsalan Akram who hails from Faislabad. He does not have his both arms but despite the fact he is living a meaningful life. He was conferred the award.
On this occasion the President of Aaghosh Trust Shagufta Saba termed it the beautiful day saying like the rest of the world the disability day was also being observed in Karachi. Aaghosh Trust celebrates this day with great enthusiasm so that these gems who are making their marks with shining examples may be given their dues.
Aaghosh home supports destitute mothers and sisters. The mentally weak women are also supported. I am indebted to all those people who spare their precious time by visiting the Aaghosh home and provide us with assistance.
The famous personality who participated in this unique award function included Chief Guest of the program Sardar Yaseen Malik and guests of honour were Iftekhar Shallawani (Commissioner Karachi), Yahya Polan (Chairman Polani Group), Haji Masood Parekh (Chairman Memon Khidmat Forum), Hanif Motlani (President All Pakistan Memon Federation), Hammad Poonawala (President AISMA), Zeeshan Altaf Lohya (Founder and President of Z Group of Companies), Shakeel Baig (Chairman CRPC), Akhtar Younus Arfa (Vice Chairman Memon Khidmat Forum), Atiq Ur Rehman (CSR/CSI Activist on Thalassemia Eradication from Pakistan), Aijaz Hyder (Vice President NBP), Dr. Zahid Hasan Ansari (Govt. of Sindh), and Kamran Chandna (Chairman Chandna Corporation).
