Adopt cyber security as a career goal

KARACHI: The Microsoft Skills for Jobs program was organized by AUC Ventures on Wednesday at a local hotel in Karachi.
The program aimed to guide the young generation to adopt the field of cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence to prepare them for global competition.
On this Occasion Chairman of AUC, Dr. Muhammad Anwar Usman said that AUC is a trademark of success in the field of IT education, certification-based programs, and training.

CEO, Asad Ullah Chaudhry of the University of Oxford shared AUC has conducted more than 400 workshops in Pakistan and internationally in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Ethiopia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and the United States. He said that AUC has already provided. Net technology and resources to Microsoft Pakistan.
Former President of FPCCI Zakaria Usman also appreciated the efforts of AUC and urged the business community to work with AUC to promote technology in Pakistan.
While Education Lead Microsoft, Jibran Jamshed also spoke about Microsoft’s vision on this occasion and emphasized the need to adopt Microsoft technology.
Director of NASTP, Dr. Shoaib Arif, spoke on the importance and adoption of cyber security.
PWC Executive Director, Syed Abdul Qadir also spoke about cyber security and global challenges. and opportunities for youth in the field of cybersecurity and shared job opportunities in Pakistan, where 95 percent of vacancies are still vacant in this field.
On this occasion, notable IT and business personalities Syed Javed, CEO of Vendor Junction, including Iftikhar Ahmed, President of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Farrukh Amin, CEO of Unity Foods, Javed Bilwani, Chairman PHMEA, Junaid Makda, President PAJCCI, Asif Sum Sum, Chairman of ABAD, Ibrahim Habib Senior Vice Chairman, and other dignitaries of the city, including vice-chancellors of various universities, were also present.
