KARACHI: In connection with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a seminar was held on 11th October at Civil Hospital Karachi to raise awareness about early detection and management of breast cancer. The event was organized under the supervision of Dr. Shumaila Kereo (Internal Medicines), Head of Department of Oncology Ruth Pfau Hospital, while Medical Superintendent Dr. Syed Khalid Bukhari graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Dr. Maliha Ashfaq – Highlighted key aspects of screening, prevention, and treatment strategies involved in different stages of cancer.

The seminar was well attended by faculty members, doctors, nursing staff, and healthcare workers from different wards, reflecting a strong commitment to promoting women’s health and the importance of early diagnosis of breast cancer.
