Chinese CG in Karachi Yang & other diplomats visit the Quaid’s Mazar to pay homage to Jinnah

KARACHI: On the morning of October 3, Chinese Consul General in Karachi Yang Yundong, along with diplomats of Chinese Consulate General, paid a visit to Mazar-e-Quaid, says a Press release.
Under the guidance ofguards of honor from the Pakistan Navy, Consul General Yang Yundong and the Chinese diplomats climbed up the stairs and entered the memorial hall in a coordinated paceto the rhythm of the Naval Band.
Yang placed a wreath to the Qaid-i-Azam (Great Leader) and Baba-e-Qaum (The Father of the Nation) beforeholding a solemn homage-paying ceremony, and then he left a respectful message on the guest book: “The Land of the Pure, the Great Leader of the Nation, Mr. Jinnah forever lives in the hearts of the Pakistani people”.
Consul General Yang Yundong and the Chinese diplomats also visited the Jinnah Relics Museum and listened carefully to the life stories of Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Consul General Yang Yundong said that China and Pakistan share a common memory of founding a country and safeguarding national sovereignty, independence and dignity.
The two countries have jointly cultivated a profound friendship on the foundation of pioneering work laid by the older generations of respective leaders.
This timeless friendship is even to this day precious wealth to the people of two countries, which provides inexhaustible impetus for the two countries to build a closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era.
