KARACHI: This Christmas, Dawood Global Foundation brought the community together for #LFFeed, Bhook Mitao, where celebrities, CEOs, artists, singers, community leaders gathered to pack and distribute over 700 food rations to needy persons throughout slum areas as well as to Holy Mary, Umar Goth, Brohi Goth, Orangi town, rape victims, transgender, shelter homes, struggling artists, et al.
Spotted at the event were Sheema Kermani, Samir Dossal, Kausar Ifran, Afzaal Adhia, among others. There were also recipients present to receive in person the signature LadiesFund pink doris.
#LFFeed Founder Tara Uzra Dawood thanked the community for gathering. Sheema Kermani who was personally overseeing the distribution of 500 of the doris deeply thanked Dawood Global Foundation for its year around support for both minorities and those struggling, year after year. Samir Dossal spoke of worldwide support of these events. Event organizers Dr. Nezihe Hussain, Maha Sheikh,Yildiz Farooqui and Sarfraz Dennis Nazeer, had arranged Christmas trees, Christmas cookies and Christmas cake for all to enjoy, and brought students out. Dr. Nezihe also organized and personally oversaw the packing by guests so they could personally pack doris and by hand give recipients.
