KARACHI: Well-known businessman and CEO Dr. Essa Laboratory and Diagnostic Centre former Governor Rotary International District 3271, Dr. Farhan Essa Abdullah, met Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation and presented them with souvenirs from the city of Sakinan Shahr Quaid World Mushaira presented, says a Press release.
On this occasion, Syed Tarab Shah, Marketing Director of daily Ausaf / ABN News was also present. An informal discussion took place on this occasion, in which emphasis was placed on organising educational, literary and cultural gatherings in the city and mutual cooperation was decided in this regard.
Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed said that work is going on on four projects to meet the shortage of water in Shahr Quaid, after which there will be a lot of improvement in solving the problem of water shortage in Karachi. We are taking strong action against water theft. In this regard, we have also caught many illegal connections and action has been taken against them.
Dr. Farhan Essa Abdullah said that in order to get relief from the mechanical and anxious life in the city, there should be gatherings like the residents of the city, so that the youth can be associated with knowledge and literature and brighten the name of the country and the nation.
Like every year, this year also the 29th residents Sakinan Shahr Quaid World Mushaira is being held in Karachi in which literary, cultural and academic personalities from across the country will participate.
