KARACHI: Generation’s Open House at the North Campus Generation’s School’s Open House at Generation’s North Campus, hosted hundreds of families who enjoyed a pleasant evening with their family & friends, says a Press release.
It was a unique experience and an excellent opportunity for parents and visitors to learn about the School and its philosophy of education. Existing, as well as aspiring families toured the learning spaces and classrooms and got a chance to talk to the Generation’s Team about the teaching and learning practices at the School.
A special feature seen at the Open House was the world renowned Leader in Me Programme by Franklin Covey. The 7 habits could be seen in the displays, culture, as well as in the curriculum around the School.
Learning facilities and resources like dedicated Nature Areas, age-appropriate Libraries, well equipped Resource Center, thriving planning time areas and vibrant classrooms, provided the larger community an occasion to experience the environment and the culture conducive for children’s learning and holistic development. There were plenty of meaningful displays all around the School, including children’s work and others offering information and insight about the School.
It was interesting to see not only children, but also parents and grandparents enjoying the activities. The sequence and progression of the learning activities helped the parents understand how their child’s educational experience will be paved at Generation’s. They observed and appreciated how the young learners progress from very basic concepts to increasingly complex ones!
Talking to staff members, visitors could gauge the level of training the teachers go through, for them to be able to sustain the culture of ‘excellence in learning’ at Generation’s. All in all, it was an atmosphere of relaxing family time with scrumptious food, fun and meaningful learning, where interested families began the admission process for their children as Well. – NNI
