Iftar Dinner held at Astana Lal Shah in Murree, prayers offered for Gaza and Palestine

MURREE: An important Iftar dinner was hosted during the holy month of Ramadan at Astana Lal Shah in Murree by its successor, Pir Hasnain Shah. The gathering was attended by Khawaja Shoaib ul Hassan, Sardar Umar Farooq Laghari, Jamaal Jatt and Absar Kiani, among others.
Speaking on the occasion, Khawaja Shoaib ul Hassan highlighted the spiritual significance of Ramadan, stating that the sacred month renews faith, patience and piety among believers. He appreciated the spiritual and religious services of Astana Lal Shah and expressed deep concern over the situation in Gaza and Palestine. He said the Iftar dinner conveyed a strong message of unity and collective responsibility toward addressing the challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah.
He further emphasized that Ramadan offers an opportunity to align one’s life with the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah, seek forgiveness, strengthen family ties and support the underprivileged. In times marked by trials and unrest, he urged the community to remain steadfast in faith and demonstrate unity.
Other guests also shared their views. Sardar Umar Farooq Laghari said the event reflected a message of solidarity and urged the Muslim community to set aside differences and work together. Jamaal Jatt, a young candidate for the National Assembly, described the gathering as a symbol of devotion and thanked Pir Hasnain Shah for the invitation. Absar Kiani noted his longstanding association with Astana Lal Shah and said such events promote harmony and the vision of a better society.
During the ceremony, special prayers were offered for the people of Gaza and Palestine as well as for the peace and stability of the country. The event concluded with a dinner, after which Pir Hasnain Shah thanked the participants and reiterated his commitment to further strengthening the spiritual and religious services of Astana Lal Shah.
