ISLAMABAD: Communication and leadership skills play a pivotal role in the quality of our personal and professional life. Islamabad Toastmasters Club (ITC) is a healthy and supportive platform, where one can work on his/her communication and leadership skills, says a Press release.
ITC organized its annual Speech Contest (Prepared Speech Contest) for the year 2021-22 on October 12, 2021, where an individual delivers a constructive speech on any topic by articulating his/her thought process. This practice comes in handy during presentations, interviews, lectures, trainings, advocacy sessions etc.
The contest was held under the leadership of President Islamabad Toastmasters Club, Naureen Fatima.
More than 10 members participated in the contest to challenge their speaking skills. These contests are organised to enable the members to control their nerves and gain speaking experience.
