Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) President Salman Aslam and Patron-in-Chief SM Muneer have said that they will give 5 million rupees to help flood victims in Balochistan.
Patron-in-Chief SM Muneer said that they will not leave their countrymen alone during this hard time. We have already set up a committee to help the victims. KATI President Salman Aslam is in charge of it, and he has already sent 5 trucks full of aid to the victims. He said that members of KATI and the business community have made active contributions to the relief fund and that more work is being done.
President KATI Salman Aslam said that the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry was the first business group to help the people of Balochistan who were affected by the floods. He said that he is in touch with the local people and the government and that he thinks it is his first job to get relief supplies to the right place at the right time. Salman Aslam said that right after the flood, KATI’s seven-person relief team was in Khuzdar giving out aid.
President KATI said that record rains and floods have hurt a lot of Balochistan, but it is still very important to get aid, food, and medicine to many areas as soon as possible. A lot of victims still have to live in tents that are falling apart. He said that the flood victims are waiting for us to help them. In this way, KATI has set up a relief fund to help people right away whose homes, property, and other assets have been taken away. Members and the business community contribute to this fund.
