KARACHI: Aaghosh Trust celebrated Mothers’ Day along with senior members and office-bearers of Karachi Editors Club (KEC) on Sunday at Aaghosh Homes with old aged shelterless women. Muhammad Riaz Haider Member Provincial Assembly (PTI) was the Chief Guest.
Riaz Haider, in his address on the occasion, lauded the services being rendered by Shagufta Saba President Aagosh for shelterless mothers. He also remembered his mother who left him 18 month ago. He said he is feeling proud to celebrate the Mothers’ Day with the resident mothers of Aaghosh Home. After his address Riaz Haider performed cake cutting ceremony with mothers and Shagufta Saba, President, Muhammad Jazib Generel Secretary Aaghosh, Mubasher Mir President, Manzar Naqvi Secretary General KEC, Shakil Baig Chairman CRPC, Tasneem Zehra CEO IQ Tales, Professor Khalida, Sufia Khan and Ahmed Omer.
Mubasher Mir President KEC, in his address on this occasion, appreciated services of Aaghosh Trust and its President Shagufta Saba, Muhammad Jazib General Secretary and all the trustees for their selfless services to shelterless women for the sake of Allah. He said in this era who are performing services for those people who cannot give anything in return but only prays, are great people.
Shakil Baig Chairman Consumer Rights Protection Council of Pakistan (CRPC), Tasneem Zehra CEO IQ Tale organization, Sufia Khan and Manzar Naqvi Secretary General KEC also appreciated the Aaghosh services and saluted the mothers. They appreciated the whole Aaghosh Team which are serving day and night throughout especially during the whole lockdown period with all safety measures to keep away COVID-19 from the residents mothers They thanked the Aaghosh Team that provided them opportunity to celebrate the Day with the mothers.
Shagufta Saba President Aaghosh Trust thanked the all guests and all resident mothers of Aaghosh Home on this occasion.
