Manzar Naqvi’s 2nd book on China comprising his 3 travels to China from 2015 to 2017 is being launched on the eve of 97th anniversary of Communist Party of China (CPC) on Sunday July1, 2018 arranged by most prestigious organization of senior journalist’s i.e. Karachi Editors Club (KEC). On this occasion KEC also announced its prestigious awards titled Pak-China Friendship, KEC Excellence Award 2018.The launching ceremony will start with recitation from Holy Quran then first exciting item would be musical tribute to acknowledge Sino-Pak Friendship by Kashif and his companions. They will also present national anthems of both the countries by their musical performancse.
After the book launching, Pak-China Friendship, Excellence Awards will be presented to awardees.Some of awardees are: Syed Sarmad Ali, Secretary General, All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) and Head of Jang Media Group on acknowledgements of his efforts to establish Pak-China Media Corridor (PCMC); Wang Yu, Consul General of China at Karachi for his best efforts to promote bilateral relations between the two countries; You Hang, Deputy Managing Director, Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) to promote Capital Market of Pakistan; Saeed Ahmed, President/CEO, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) for best cooperation to promote economic relations; Agha Masood Hussain,Senior Journalist/Anchor to acknowledge his writing contribution to promote CPEC; Mukhtar Butt, Columnist/Anchor on his articles; Sardar Shaukat Popalzai of FPCCI to promote business relations; Syed Ali Nawaz Gilani, Secretary General, Pak-China Friendship Association (KPK) and President Pak-China Listeners Club, to promote business, cultural and bilateral relations’ and of course to Manzar Naqvi to explore China through his four different visits by writing two book on China i.e.”Wonderful China” and “Amazing China”.
Saeed Ahmed, President NBP is the Chief Guest and Wang YU, Consul General China is presiding over this launching ceremony while other famous dignitaries like Mubasher Mir, President KEC; Javaria Tareen, Chairperson BIRD from Balochistan; Senator Haseeb Khan, Chairman Brooks Pharma; You Hang, Deputy Managing Director PSX; Tariq Iqbal Khan, Ex-Chairman NIT and Financial Analyst; Begum Salma Ahmed, Ex-MNA and leader of women entrepreneurs of Pakistan; Nasim Beg, Vice Chairman Arif Habib Corporation; Agha Masood Hussain, Senior Journalist/Anchor; Akhlaq Ahmed, Senior Journalist and Author; Akram Kamboh, Senior Columnist; and various others will be addressing the ceremony. Last item of this launching ceremony would be cutting especially designed cake of 97th anniversary of Communist Party of China (CPC) by Wang Yu, Chinese Consul General at Karachi.
