Hazrat Muhammad PBUH was teacher of Hazrat Ali (AS) and all companions, Hazrat Ali (AS) said I am Slave of Holy Prophet PBUH
Those who educate children well are more to be honored than they who produce them; for these only gave them life, those the art of living well, and roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet, The more you know, the more you know you don’t know, Aristotle
The teacher is not king but he makes kings, Aristotle was not king but he produced Alexander the great. Hazrat Ali (RA) said if you are a king even then you standup when your teacher and parents come.
First of all what is a teacher? just someone who provides with knowledge? The answer is not yet simple neither complicated a teacher is spiritual parent who plays a very unique role; in which he/she not only transmits knowledge or learning/understanding but they also somehow bring a sense of relation in the student, they you can contribute in the development of building a character. A point to be noted is that being a teacher does not imply only education but any kind of appropriate knowledge giver is a teacher.
As I said a teacher plays a crucial role in developing a character now why? this is because knowledge is someone a person can obtain on his own just by reading and memorizing but a teacher is important to show the way of how to. The eyes of parents and teachers are the same they seek the best of a child’s ability they want to give their best and in return receive the best and it is this deriving force which affects the student spiritually. A teacher does not bring the student to the doors of success but it is his teaching which guides the student to the doors to success. As a spiritual father a teacher wants to bring out the best outcome he can from his student. A teacher’s goal is to make their student be more aware and understanding of what they do and how they do it they focus on the fundamentally present qualities in an already existing nature of a child.
As per being a parent like figure to a student a teacher makes them understand that there is always more to learn and obtain from and the cycle of teaching never ends instead it keeps prolonging. Just like a father provides unconditional love to his children a teacher provides all the best of his ability to his students and encourages them to bring out the best possible they can. A teacher does not considers a student to be a burden instead he considers them like his own child.
We take it for granted on much of a big influence a mentor can have on his student because a teacher shapes the soul of a student we spend most of our time in which we learn with our teachers so we pick up on their traits and how they tend to transmit their experience and ways to us and slowly but surely we embody their teachings and act upon them. A teacher’s way to seek into the child and understand them is a very unique.
Speaking from the perspective of a teacher; he gives knowledge and seeks out omnipotence in our character so he wants results and wants the love and whole heartiness he has given to be given back to him, it can be in the form of gifts or kind and welcoming wishes and prayers of blessings in the end a teacher is a human too he teachers to perfect us in our mistakes but all humans can do mistakes so we can be teachers too and teach others of how to do things right.
Kenyan Peter Tabichi, who has been teaching for 12 years, was recently named the best teacher in the world. Teaching with sincerity is the dedication for the human resources. Its not a job rather a religion; Simply Teaching is a religion. When you are a teacher, I think you are doing the best religious works if you work with honesty, sincerity and dedication. To approach teaching as a dedicated profession with the rigor of religious pursuit is indeed an interesting comparison. However, it is noteworthy that presenting an extremist approach can be as detrimental in teaching as it is in politics. So sir, I think you can make the general comparison that teaching is LIKE a religion. But, I do not think it is fair to state explicitly that teaching IS a religion because of the negative connotations associated with religious fanaticism. A doctor is more important because it is he who treats the teacher. Otherwise, without treatment, the teacher would die and, so, fail to teach. Teachers are greater because they are the ones who nurture a doctor right from childhood.
Alexander was influenced by the teachings of his tutor, Aristotle, whose philosophy of Greek ethos did not require forcing Greek culture on the colonized. “Alexander would take away the political autonomy of those he conquered but not their culture or way of life.
My teacher said that Aristotle describe excellence as Excellence is never an accident. It is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, and intelligent execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives – choice, not chance, and determines your destiny. Aristotle said Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all. Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom. Happiness depends upon ourselves. Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence. The educated differ from the uneducated as much as the living differ from the dead. A friend to all is a friend to none. Those who know, do. Those that understand, teach. It is not enough to win a war; it is more important to organize the peace. Poverty is the parent of revolution and crime. I count him braver who overcomes his desires than him who conquers his enemies, for the hardest victory is over self. The only stable state is the one in which all men are equal before the law. Wise men speak when they have something to say, fools speak because they have to say something.
