MARVEL OF NATURE

Besotted by the beauteous handiwork,
Of dazzling, luminous, Divine Creativity,
I lie on the cool sands of the desert,
Witnessing in wonder the radiant stars.

The constellations, the twinkling Venus,
The collision of radiance of each,
Lights up the sky, a tapestry of Sapphires,
Encrusted deep inside the dark skies.

Nature is the art of God,
Unblest is man, who sees,
But fails to comprehend,
The hidden, the obvious.

Nature gives birth to life,
From the dead, barren lands,
Sprouts the colours of life,
Yet, man remains in denial.

True are the laws of Nature,
It does nothing without purpose,
It inevitably will run its course,
No follower of Divinity loses the way.

Try never to conquer Nature,
In obedience is contentment,
Let Uther- Pendragon do what he can,
The river Eden will run as it ran.
The distilled brightness of the twinkle,
Hasn’t aged by light years of travel,
In the eternity of time
Lies man’s insignificance.

Said a poet, to the poor
Stars are an infinite grace,
Said another, nay, for the rich,
Just an extra gift on Nature.

The Moon arrogant by its beauty,
In collusion with the clouds,
Intermittently attempts to dull,
Stars blazing light that peeps teasingly.

The silence of the stillness,
Broken by the soft lashing waves,
That come with an uproar, but die
At my feet, receding, they take some of me.

Silence the sweetest pill,
Soothes the aching heart,
A conspiracy of the Stars,
Delivers the heavens….

The rivers flow incessantly,
But with measure,
The tide, the ebbs, all
move in natural harmony .

Ingratitude, the worst of vices,
Gratitude, the least of virtues,
Ungrateful is man of bounties,
Blessed upon by Mother Nature.

The stars begin to fade,
The tide prepares to die,
Upon the horizon, light Outstrips,
The night, a New day, a New Blessing….
