KARACHI: Promoting inclusion, equality, enhancing creativity and problem-solving skills amidst the students PACE College of Advanced Studies organized Pakistan’s first Junior CEO Challenge an Inter School business idea generation competition in collaboration with Rotary Club of Educational Development and All Private School Management Association, says a Press release.
More than 1500 Students from 100+ renowned schools of Karachi participated in this competition where top 16 qualifiers contested for Grand Finale of Junior CEO Challenge on 12th November 2022 at the Arts Council Karachi (venue Partner),celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week.
Adeel Durvesh Co-Founder PACE College of Advanced Studies focused on the need of building entrepreneurial mindsets amongst youth of Pakistan as the response for the second edition was overwhelming. Ejaz Khan Co-Founder PACE was overwhelmed to see the excitement amongst budding entrepreneurs specially girls sharing brilliant ideas. Project Lead Huma Jabeen said that we have created an opportunity for our youth to think out of the box and the Junior CEO Challenge is flourished as a brand in the entrepreneurship eco-system of Pakistan.
Tariq Shah Chairman Rotary Club of Educational Development and APSMA shared that the innovative concept behind the challenge is so inviting and aligned with the ideology of Rotary & APSMA that made them the collaborating partners of this paradigm shift.
Tariq Sultan CEO House of Habib, Dr. Shehzad Jeeva CEO Aga Khan University Examination Board, Dr. Farha Essa, Sabina Khatri, Tauseef Lateef Hassan Daudpota, Rafia Mallah, Khusnood Aftab, Asif Ismail, Shoaib Ibrahim, Haroon Qasim, Rizwan Jaffer, Dr. Hussain Habib and Taimur Beiram were amongst the keynote speakers and panelists who encouraged the top qualifiers to win the title of Junior CEO Challenge 2022.
Speaking of the occasion Dr. Hussain Habib Director Salim Habib University said, “This is a great initiative for students to unlock their true potential and develop their creative thinking. Our youth can only excel through an entrepreneurial mindset and by providing such platforms we can empower them and equip them for success in future”.
