KARACHI: Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company Limited (PSMC) has achieved another significant milestone by commencing the export of body parts for its Suzuki Cultus to Thailand, marking the first such export of its kind from the local market.
According to details, the development highlights Pak Suzuki’s growing contribution to Pakistan’s industrial exports and reflects increasing confidence in the country’s manufacturing capabilities. The export initiative is expected to strengthen Pakistan’s position in the global automotive supply chain.
A ceremony was held to mark the occasion, attended by Managing Director Hiroshi Kawamura, along with senior management and technical teams of the company.
Speaking at the event, Hiroshi Kawamura highlighted Pak Suzuki’s long-standing history of vehicle exports and emphasized that the latest shipment to Thailand would further consolidate the company’s presence in the Southeast Asian market. He described the initiative as a clear demonstration of the company’s commitment to expanding its international business operations.
Kawamura noted that export-oriented manufacturing plays a crucial role in strengthening Pakistan’s industrial capacity, enhancing cost competitiveness, and driving sustainable growth. He added that Pak Suzuki remains committed to expanding its export portfolio and contributing meaningfully to the country’s economic development.
