Pakistan armed forces intensify operations along western border, foil major terror plots

KARACHI: Pakistan’s armed forces have intensified counterterrorism operations along the western border in response to renewed militant threats, successfully thwarting several planned attacks and dismantling cross-border networks seeking to destabilize the country, according to official sources.
