On February 27, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Israel. This visit took place at a time when tensions in the Middle East were at their peak and clouds of war were hovering over the region. The meeting between Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was not an ordinary one. According to the narrative, Netanyahu briefed Modi regarding plans for an attack on Iran and sought to include India in the strategy. It was decided that India would use its influence over the Taliban government to persuade them to attack Pakistan, so that Pakistan would become engaged on its western front with Afghanistan. The objective was to prevent Pakistan from assisting Iran in the event of an American and Israeli strike, as Israel was aware that Pakistan had provided Iran with full support during the previous Israel-Iran conflict. Under this plan, it is claimed that the Taliban government, acting as India’s proxy, launched a sudden nighttime attack on Pakistan on February 28. As a result, Pakistan’s military attention shifted entirely to the western front with Afghanistan. Consequently, Iran was left alone in its war against Israel and in the initial Israeli American strike, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with senior military leadership, was killed. As Reported CIA had been monitoring Khamenei for months, while Israel had hacked Tehran’s Safe City cameras and gained control over mobile network towers to track the movements of his security personnel and drivers. Hence the United States and Israel learned that Khamenei was scheduled to hold an important meeting with military leadership on Saturday morning. Whereas Iran believed until the last moment that any attack would occur under the cover of night. However, Israel targeted the Supreme Leader’s compound at 9:40 a.m. During the strike, senior military officials attending the meeting were also killed.
During Modi’s recent visit to Israel, it was also agreed to establish a six-nation security alliance including Israel, India, Greece, Cyprus, United Arab Emirates, and Somaliland, the alliance was named “Alliance of Hexagonal” on the Israeli govt’s website, described as part of Israel’s broader regional ambitions. These developments are being viewed as a threat by Pakistan and other regional countries such as Turkey and Saudi Arabia. Israel sees Pakistan the only nuclear-armed Islamic country as a major obstacle to its ambitions. Following the recent Pakistan-Saudi defense agreement, under which Pakistan have provided Saudi Arabia with a nuclear umbrella, Israel and India are described as collaborating against Pakistan.
It is a fact that Israel considers Iran and Pakistan as threats. A former Israeli prime minister said that a new regional axis is emerging that includes Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and nuclear-armed Pakistan, which he described as hostile to Israel. According to this narrative, after Iran, Pakistan could face serious security threats from Israel-India alliance. However, Pakistan’s armed forces are fully prepared to handle any such situation. Afghanistan, which attacked Pakistan at India’s behest, was reportedly dealt with firmly by the Pakistani military and is now seeking mediation through Qatar and other intermediaries to secure a ceasefire.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei was 86 years old and was a cancer survivor. Due to war, his security team had advised him to shift temporarily to bunker, but he refused and as it seems he desired martyrdom during the holy month of Ramadan and he was fasting at the time of his death, attaining as the highest status of martyrdom. He was aware that his death will unite the Iranian nation which was proven true. Attempts by United States and Israel to bring regime change in Iran have not succeeded. This narrative shows that Khamenei’s sacrifice has strengthened national unity, and that his ideology and message have become even more influential after his death.
