NIAMEY (Niger): The Pakistani Head of Mission in Niger republic Ahmed Ali Sirohey donated one ton Pakistani rice to the relief drive of the president of National Assembly of Niger, says a Press release.
The rice was received and distributed on behalf of President Ousseini Tinni by Chief of Staff and protocol Elh. Abdou Boubacar. He thanked the Government of Pakistan and the head of Mission for donating much needed commodity before Eid for poor people.
He extended the appreciation of the president and assured full support to the Envoy in the discharge of his duties.
The Head of Mission has disclosed that it’s according to the spirit of Ramazan. Pakistan considers Nigerien people as brothers so sharing with them is actually showing brotherly bond. He further added that in future more activities would be planned together. The rice was handed over at the National Assembly.
