PESHAWAR: Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the Sehat Card Plus Programme for the entire population of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Swat as well as Hassan Abdal railway station on Friday (today).
This was disclosed by Health Minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra along with Special Assistant on Information Kamran Bangash in a news briefing here on Thursday.
Taimur Saleem Jhagra said that the programme will be completely implemented across the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for a hundred percent population by 31st January next year. He said that in the first phase, the health insurance scheme has been started in six districts of Malakand division since 1st of this month.
Speaking on the occasion, Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Kamran Bangash said Prime Minister Imran Khan has encouraged the provincial government for tremendous steps.
The preparations are underway in Mingora – Swat ahead of the visit of Imran Khan where he will address a public gathering at Grassy Ground.
Moreover, he is likely to unveil a package for the entire Malakand Division during his visit to Swat. The public gathering will also be addressed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and Federal Minister for Communications Murad Saeed.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the Hassan Abdal railway station. According to details, Hassan Abdal railway station has been constructed at a cost of Rs300 million. The railway station consists of the grand and the first floors.
Clean and cold water plants have been installed for the convenience of the passengers. Apart from this, a canteen has also been constructed along with the waiting area. A new tubewell has also been installed to meet the water requirement of Hassan Abdal railway station as well as installation of 300 KV generator for uninterrupted power supply.
