Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, has arrived in Karachi for a one-day visit, where he was warmly welcomed by Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, and other senior officials.
During his visit, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the automated system for Customs clearance by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) at the Karachi Port Trust, a significant step aimed at streamlining trade processes in the country.
Additionally, Prime Minister Sharif will visit the Pakistan Stock Exchange, where he will attend a ceremony honoring the Exchange for being recognized as the second best-performing stock exchange globally in 2024. He will participate in the event as the chief guest.
This visit underscores the government’s ongoing efforts towards economic and trade development, reinforcing Pakistan’s position in the global market and contributing to the stability of the country’s economy.
