A close friend of Prince Harry has made startling revelations about the Duke of Sussex’s personal desires and struggles amid his ongoing rift with Prince William and Kate Middleton.
According to Harry’s pal, King Charles III’s younger son had allegedly made the drastic decision to step down as a senior royal in 2020 due to not receiving the admiration he craved. The Duke of Sussex is said to have longed for the same level of affection and recognition enjoyed by his brother, Prince William, and sister-in-law, Princess Kate.
In an interview with *The Times*, one of Harry’s oldest friends revealed, “He’s an angry boy. Things haven’t turned out how he wanted.” The source further explained that Harry deeply misses the UK and yearns to be more admired, similar to the public adoration that William and Kate receive.
The friend added, “Anyone who knows him feels he’d rather be top of the pops here with everyone loving him, as they do with William and Kate.”
Another close acquaintance of Harry echoed this sentiment, noting that while Harry values his family life in California with Meghan Markle and their children, he faces isolation from his royal family and old friends. “He has ended up isolated from his family and most of his old mates, in an environment where your friendships are not like the ones you forged as a young man,” said the pal.
