There are very few people who passed away from this world to heavens but still will be remembered nicely in history. One of those personalities was a renowned Azadar and Organiser Late Syed Iqbal Hussain Naqvi. Some of your good deeds are performed in your life that you forget while performing these but these lead to continuous good deeds in the process.
As of today I have served as Imam Masjid after studying in Qum for the last ten years. I also have the honour to address numerous Majalis-i-Aza. But nobody knows this achievement was owing to the great efforts behind me by Late Syed Iqbal Hussain Naqvi. He proceeded with my CNIC and Passport in order to go to Iran. May be I was unable to qualify for this but with the blessings of my Kareem Maula I started my religious education there ultimately.
I believe that as long as I survive and whatsoever religious duties I would perform the spiritual reward will go to soul of Late Syed Iqbal Hussain Naqvi. There is no doubt that good deeds never go waste and are rewarded whenever the time favours you.
Almighty Allah opens doors of opportunities at every other step in your life. If your conscience is active and have a clear mind you can achieve means to fulfil somebody’s needs. People consider good financial situation is the only way to help out somebody but in fact it can be done by moral support and encouragement from others.
Syed Iqbal Hussain Naqvi’s father Syed Israr Hussain Naqvi had started Ashra-i-Muharram Majalis for the first time at the Chittian Hattian Imambargah in Rawalpindi. After his demise the responsibility was taken over bravely by his two sons Syed Iqbal Hussain Naqvi and Syed Ejaz Hussain Naqvi. They arranged renowned religious Khateebs to address these Majalis in spite of tough circumstances to fufil the quest of people for knowledge and become able to satisfactory respond to the teasing questions of the opponents.
By the grace of God this service did not discontinue after the death of Syed Iqbal Hussain Naqvi as his son Syed Nomi Shah is carrying out these activities besides fulfilling his responsibilities as Chairman Shia Azadar Council. Marhoom.
Late Syed Iqbal Hussain Naqvi will continue to reap the benefits of Azadari activities now being carried out by his bright son Syed Nomi Shah in the Hereafter. It is not the height of honour and wealth that would serve you after you leave this world but it is the love of people for you who keep on remembering you for whatever reasons; and Syed Iqbal Hussain Naqvi had left many reasons for his lover not only in the family but also in the community. There is a saying from elders that prepare yourself now for the life Hereafter because only your good deeds will be honoured over all other worldly activities. Let us also do something good for the community; for those who address these Majalis at this Imambargah and for those who continue to come to listen them patiently braving the weather and the precarious situations whenever the things go berserk. My all prayers for Syed Nomi Shah to run this activity without any hassle so as to keep the flag left by his father to him flutter high ever.
