KARACHI: Atif Ikram Sheikh, President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has appointed Shahid Jawed Qureshi, a well-known figure in the business and industry circle, as the Convener of FPCCI’s Central Standing Committee on Telecommunications for the year 2024-25, says a Press release.
Qureshi has over twenty years of accumulated experience in serving the business community at different positions, including as Vice Chairman of the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI). He also served as member Executive Committee on the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).
He held chairmanship position of several standing committees at FPCCI, KATI, Pakistan Hardware Association and other trade bodies where he resolved the problems faced by the trade and industry related to telecommunication. He is also President PMFA since last 16 years.
Shahid Jawed Qureshi has than the President FPCCI for reposing confidence in him and vowed to serve with full dedication for the redressal of grievances of the trade and industry in relations their phone related problems. He also assured that the Committee will work in consultation with the FPCCI leadership.
