ISLAMABAD: The Pakistani rupee on Monday recovered sharply against the US dollar, for it was traded at Rs206.50 in the interbank with the appreciation of 98 paisas against the greenback.
Earlier, on Friday, the Pakistani currency was in a fluid mode as it had lost 25 paisas to the US dollar after reaping a healthy gain of Rs4.70 on the back of good economic vibes.
In the trading activity on Friday, the dollar seemed to regain its strength and appreciated by Rs1.27 and was once traded at Rs208.50. But in the end, the greenback appreciated only 25 paisas, concluding the day at Rs207.48. – NNI
