Visionary Youth Conclave 2026 held in Karachi to empower young leaders

KARACHI: The Visionary Youth Conclave 2026, jointly organised by Growth Enterprises and the Sports & Youth Affairs Department, Government of Sindh, was successfully held at Pearl Continental Hotel, Karachi, under the theme “Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders Today.”
The conclave aimed to inspire and empower young people, develop their leadership potential, promote sports and recognise athletes who have brought honour to Pakistan through their outstanding achievements.
The event was attended by senior government officials, parliamentarians, youth representatives, sports personalities, business leaders, civil society members and other distinguished guests.
The Chief Guest was Munawar Ali Mahesar, Secretary, Sports & Youth Affairs Department, Government of Sindh, who highlighted the importance of investing in the country’s youth and providing them with opportunities to develop their skills, leadership abilities and potential.
Hina Zulfiqar, CEO Growth Enterprises, and Syed Zeshan Hashmi, Chief Organiser, also played a key role in organising the conclave and bringing together representatives from different sectors to promote youth development.
Among the prominent guests were Z. H. Khurram, UN Ambassador in Pakistan for Media, Culture, Youth, Education, Sports, Environment and Peace; Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, MNA; Dr Shariq Jamal, MPA; Salman Ahmed; Shukat Jilani; Ms Laaila; Syed Habibullah, Director Youth Affairs, Government of Sindh; Kabeer Ahmed, CEO Multi Tech Chemicals; Mirza Alam Baig, Patron Religions for Peace; Naveed Sand, PS Science and Information Technology; Iffat Shahid; Perveez Aslam; Huma Ikramullah, Secretary General Religions for Peace South Asia; Kashif, Advocate High Court; Riaz Hussain Korai, Advocate High Court; Huma Naseem, and others.
The speakers emphasised that young people represent Pakistan’s greatest asset and that their active participation in education, sports, entrepreneurship,technology and social development is essential for the country’s future.
The conclave also highlighted the role of sports in developing discipline, confidence, teamwork and leadership among young people. Athletes who have represented Pakistan and achieved distinction in their respective fields were recognised for their contributions and services to the country.
The event provided a platform for interaction between young leaders, policymakers, business representatives, sports personalities and civil society, with discussions focusing on creating greater opportunities for youth and encouraging them to contribute positively to national development.
The organisers expressed their commitment to continuing initiatives aimed at empowering young people and creating platforms where emerging leaders can showcase their abilities, exchange ideas and connect with mentors and professionals from different fields.
The Visionary Youth Conclave 2026 concluded with a renewed emphasis on the importance of youth empowerment, leadership development and sports as key pillars for building a progressive, inclusive and prosperous Pakistan.
