Women Football Tourney will held in AJK: Yaqoob

KARACHI: The former President and PM of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan has said that now the Women Football Tournament would be held in Azad Kashmir. He revealed that where the playgrounds remain inhabited and players enjoying games, the hospitals usually found desolate in same cities, says a Press release.
Sardar Yaqoob was taking on the occasion of launching ceremony of famous FIFA match agent Ellen Chiwenga T-Shirt held in a local ground by Marta Women Football Club (MWFC).
The Founder and the President of MWFC, Rais Khan presented a T-Shirt to the Ex-President of Azad Kashmir and briefed in details about the perspectives and objectives of club.
Rais Khan enlightened that the club’s activities are continue since its emergence in 2011 and hundreds of events have been organized for the development of women football and wellbeing and betterment of women players.
Yaqoob appreciated the efforts of Rais Khan and assured him for his maximum cooperation. He further stated that sincere efforts are needed for women football and players’ grooming, he hoped that now the MWFC will arrange women football tournament in Azad Kashmir in coming days.
