On behalf of the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Karachi, and personally, I extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Government and people of the Republic of the Philippines on the joyous occasion of Philippine National Day. This important occasion is a celebration of independence, national pride, and the enduring spirit of the Filipino people, whose warmth, resilience, creativity, and professionalism are widely admired around the world.
Indonesia and the Philippines enjoy a longstanding friendship founded on shared history, geographical closeness, cultural affinity, and common aspirations as fellow Southeast Asian and archipelagic nations. As active members of ASEAN, our two countries continue to work together in promoting peace, stability, inclusive growth, and regional cooperation. Our partnership reflects the spirit of solidarity, mutual respect, and dialogue that remains essential in today’s increasingly complex global environment.
From Karachi, we also wish to express our appreciation for the important role of the Filipino community in Pakistan, including their valuable contribution to the professional, social, and cultural life of the country. We also commend the friendly relations between the Philippines and Pakistan, which continue to grow through cooperation, mutual respect, and people-to-people connections. Indonesia, as a close friend of both countries, welcomes every effort that strengthens bridges of friendship and cooperation among nations.
On this special occasion, I convey our sincere congratulations to the Honorary Consul General of the Republic of the Philippines in Karachi, Dr. Muhammad Imran Yousuf, the Filipino community, and the people of the Philippines. May the Republic of the Philippines continue to enjoy peace, progress, prosperity, and success in the years ahead.
Mabuhay ang Pilipinas. Long live the friendship between Indonesia and the Philippines, and the bonds of goodwill among Indonesia, the Philippines, and Pakistan.
