JS Bank wins the ‘Most Innovative SME Bank
The “Most Innovative SME Bank” award goes to JS Bank.
KARACHI: At the 8th Annual Global Business Outlook Awards, JS Bank, which is one of Pakistan’s banks with the fastest growth, won the award for “Most Innovative SME Bank” for its success in the international banking world. The Global Business Outlook Awards look for and honour the best businesses and business sectors around the world.
This award shows that JS Bank is becoming more well-known in the international financial world and that it is determined to increase SME financing in Pakistan and change people’s lives at the ground level.
Under its wing, the Bank gives motivated young people a helping hand and encourages them to look for self-employment opportunities. One of the things it has to offer is the SME Asaan Finance (SAAF) scheme, which helps small and medium-sized businesses in Pakistan get financing. JS Khud Mukhtar is another big contributor. It helps women entrepreneurs become financially independent by giving them easy ways to do so. As part of this programme, the Bank has already given out over 125 million dollars in loans to 100 women, most of whom come from low-income rural households. The JS Naya Aghaaz SME loan also helps people with disabilities become financially independent. Up until December 2021, PKR 4.8 Million has been given out.
