KARACHI: Serious questions have been raised over the alleged use of unauthenticated or fake NICVD Service Rules and their possible financial implications involving billions of rupees.
Sources have demanded a high-level and impartial inquiry to determine the authenticity and legal status of the service rules, identify those responsible for their preparation, approval and implementation, and examine whether appointments, promotions, financial benefits or other decisions were made on their basis.
The inquiry should also thoroughly examine the alleged financial losses or irregularities involving billions of rupees and determine responsibility in accordance with the law.
It has further been demanded that all relevant records, approvals, correspondence and financial transactions related to the disputed service rules be made part of the inquiry so that the facts can be established transparently.
