Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti: Chief Minister Balochistan

On the auspicious occasion of the 77th Founding Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China, I extend, on behalf of the Government and people of Balochistan, my warmest felicitations to the Chinese leadership and the brotherly people of China.
The year 2026 holds special significance as Pakistan and China celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations. This time-tested friendship has grown into an enduring partnership based on mutual trust, respect and a shared vision for peace, development and prosperity.
Balochistan occupies a pivotal place in Pakistan-China economic cooperation. Gwadar, the gateway of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), has immense potential to emerge as a hub of regional trade, connectivity and economic activity. Our priority is to ensure that the benefits of CPEC and Gwadar’s development translate into employment, education, skills, infrastructure and better livelihoods for the people of Balochistan.
We welcome greater Chinese cooperation and investment in mineral development, renewable energy, fisheries, agriculture, infrastructure, industry and human resource development. Such partnerships can unlock Balochistan’s enormous economic potential while promoting inclusive and sustainable growth.
On this historic milestone, we reaffirm our commitment to strengthening Pakistan-China friendship and working together for shared prosperity and regional development.
May this iron-clad friendship continue to flourish for generations.
Long live Pakistan-China friendship!
