AGHAM KOT: Administrative affairs at the shrine of Masooma-e-Sindh, Bibi Maham Syyida Khadija (SA) binte Imam Musa Kazim (AS) have reportedly fallen into disarray due to alleged negligence and inefficiency of the Auqaf Department-appointed manager, causing serious difficulties for thousands of visitors arriving from across the country.
According to reports, despite repeated complaints, no effective action has been taken by the concerned authorities, and the situation continues to deteriorate.
Sources stated that about a month ago, a large tree fell on the sacred flag (Alam Pak) installed at the shrine, posing a serious risk of damage. However, despite the passage of time and multiple complaints, no remedial measures have been undertaken by the Auqaf Department.
Members of the Central Advisory Council of the Azadar Rabta Committee Hyderabad have expressed grave concern over the situation and urged the Government of Sindh to take immediate notice of the alleged negligence.
They demanded strict departmental action against the concerned manager for failing to fulfill official responsibilities and called for urgent steps to restore proper administrative arrangements at the shrine.
The council emphasized that immediate measures are necessary to facilitate and provide relief to the thousands of devotees who visit the shrine daily from different parts of the country.
